On Wednesday 14 August, the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift will be making a stopover in Remouchamps, and it’s an exceptional opportunity for all cycling fans to get together at the Maison du Cyclisme de Liège-Bastogne-Liège. Here’s all the information you need to make the most of the event!
Rendez-vous in the Côte de la Redoute
Remouchamps will be at the heart of the action as the riders pass along the famous Côte de la Redoute, an iconic spot for all cycling fans. Let’s support women’s cycling by cheering on the riders in the Redoute and show that Aywaille is definitely a cycling area! This stage between Valkenburg and Liège, which takes in the roads of Liège-Bastogne-Liège, promises to be exciting.
Start of the Tour de France Femmes Caravan in Remouchamps
The passage through Remouchamps marks the departure of the publicity caravan. It’s always a festive moment, when young and old alike can pick up goodies and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the Tour de France. Don’t miss this colourful start!
The publicity caravan is due to set off from Remouchamps at 1.50pm.
Maison du Cyclisme: special opening hours and collections
For the occasion, the Maison du cyclisme Liège-Bastogne-Liège will be exceptionally open from 10am to 5pm and will be exhibiting some exceptional items from the Tour de France Femmes, straight from Amaury Sport Organisation, jerseys from the Team SD Works Protime riders and a very unique exhibit, the bike of Marie-Rose Gaillard, who to this day remains the only Walloon world champion and the youngest ever!
So there’s no excuse not to come and visit our Maison du cyclisme before or after the racers ride!
