La Maison du cyclisme Liège-Bastogne-Liège is ideally located in the heart of the village of Sougné-Remouchamps, right next to the Grotto and the Maison du Tourisme d’Ourthe-Vesdre-Amblève.

Situated at an emblematic point on the route of the oldest cycling race, “Liège-Bastogne-Liège”, and just a stone’s throw from the Redoute hill, the Maison du Cyclisme has everything to put you in the mood for the races and to plunge you into the heart of the history of cycling and, more particularly, that of cycling competition.

You’ll discover rare and unusual exhibits in a number of different areas, as well as a wealth of information presented in a fun and original way.

The approach to the theme is designed to be educational while remaining attractive, so that you can spend a pleasant moment.

The Liège-Bastogne-Liège House of Cycling will also do its utmost to give pride of place to current events, highlight one discipline or another, tell the story of great champions and tackle many other themes during temporary exhibitions, allowing you to come back and learn even more about cycling while having fun.

La Maison du cyclisme Liège-Bastogne-Liège is designed to immerse visitors in the special atmosphere of cycle racing.

Documents and artefacts from the period will give an idea of the evolution of cycling competition. From the presentation of the riders on the podium to the commentators’ booths, through to the sophisticated decoration and sound and light effects, you’ll be immersed in the whole experience.

Exceptional items from collections

You’ll discover rare and unusual items from the collections of the Musée de la Vie Wallonne de la Province de Liège, the asbl La Maison de la Mémoire du cyclisme, Belgian cycling, as well as items on loan from numerous champions, including Philippe Gilbert himself, and other passionate collectors.

La Maison du cyclisme Liège-Bastogne-Liège will host temporary exhibitions on various cycling-related themes.

For its opening, the focus will be on the oldest cycling race, Liège-Bastogne-Liège, as well as the Tour de France and its special relationship with the Province of Liège.
