Gaëtan Bille: from professional cycling to bike fitting
The Maison du Cyclisme Liège-Bastogne-Liège welcomes Gaëtan Bille for a talk about his career, his international experiences and positioning on the bike. An opportunity to discover the journey of a former professional rider who has become a bike-fitting specialist.
A career spanning Belgium and international races
Originally from Fouches, near Arlon, Gaëtan Bille lived in the Liège region for many years. A former professional rider with teams including Lotto and Wanty, this time-trial specialist won the Grand Prix Cerami in 2012, as well as the prologue of the Tour of Portugal.
His career also took him to the roads of Gabon, Guadeloupe, Algeria and Dubai. These experiences introduced him to different sides of competitive cycling, which he will share with the audience during the evening.
A personal account in “AfricAntilles Vélo Passion”
These international adventures are reflected in our temporary exhibition “AfricAntilles Vélo Passion”, dedicated to the development of cycling in Africa and the Antilles.
Gaëtan Bille shares his experiences there through an interview. The talk will be an opportunity to explore those stories further and discuss his racing memories with him.
