7 cycling routes from Remouchamps to discover the three OVA valleys
Looking to explore the Ourthe, Vesdre and Amblève valleys by bike? The Maison du Cyclisme Liège-Bastogne-Liège in Remouchamps offers seven challenging road cycling routes, designed in collaboration with GREOVA and the Summit Cycling team.
Starting from the museum, these routes combine scenic discovery, rolling roads and demanding climbs. Ranging from 64 to over 160 kilometres, they invite road cycling enthusiasts to explore the region and test themselves on legendary climbs such as La Redoute and La Roche-aux-Faucons.
The OVA route: over 160 km through the three valleys
With over 160 km and 2,770 metres of elevation gain, the OVA route is the biggest challenge in this selection. It passes through all 14 municipalities covered by GREOVA and brings together numerous distinctive climbs.
Highlights include the climbs of Cornemont and Hansez, the Voie des Chars in Chaudfontaine, La Roche-aux-Faucons, the Chemin du Paradis in Anthisnes, Aux Vieux Moulins in Ocquier, the climb of Filot, Le Trou between Ferrières and Burnontige, the Thier du Mont in Lierneux and La Vecquée in Stoumont.
To round off this challenging ride, one final iconic ascent awaits: the Côte de la Redoute, inseparable from Liège-Bastogne-Liège.
